Visual Perception Laboratory

Research in the Visual Perception Lab currently focuses on the mechanisms underlying motion perception.

The lab is equipped with the latest top-of-the-range ViSaGe and VSG2/5 visual stimulus generators, as well as a Cambridge Research Systems eyetracker.

Current research projects are investigating the neural mechanisms underlying a range of visual phenomena; including motion-defined transparency, the direction aftereffect, direction repulsion, and the motion aftereffect.
