Sociology academic gives evidence to NI Affairs Committee on effects of Brexit
Dr Katy Hayward gives evidence to Westminster committee on the effects of Brexit on Northern Ireland
Senior Lecturer in Sociology, Dr Katy Hayward, gave evidence on 23 November to the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee in the House of Commons. Together with Queen’s colleagues Prof Dagmar Schiek and Prof Cathal McCall, Dr Hayward presented evidence from her research on the effects of the UK’s exit from the European Union on the land border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Dr Hayward is currently seconded to the Mitchell Institute in Queen’s to facilitate her research on Brexit and its likely impact on the island of Ireland.
