Academic Year Structure

Queen’s is seeking to promote a more innovative learning and assessment environment for students. As part of this, we plan to streamline the amount of assessment which students are currently required to undertake, including the requirement for examinations to be the predominant method of end-of-module assessment.

This will require developments in relation to the structure and assessment cycle of the academic year for undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes.
