Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster recently announced a £13 million funding package for the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme in Northern Ireland.

KTPs are partnerships between academic groups and companies who need access to skills and knowledge in order to innovate. The Partnership recruits one or more suitably qualified graduates (KTP Associates) to facilitate this transfer of skills and expertise. Companies can access a package of support worth up to £60k per year. Actual cost to company per Associate is only £20k.

QUB has a proven track record in delivering successful collaborations having taken the top award of Best UK KTP Partnership in 2011.

ECIT manages four technology clusters in Secure Digital Systems, Digital Communications, Speech & Vision Systems, High Frequency Electronics and is home to CSIT, the UK’s lead Innovation and Knowledge Centre for cyber security research.

Come along to the ECIT KTP Information morning to find out how your company can collaborate with us via KTP and boost your company’s knowledge.
