Climate Week 2011

Staff from across the University took part in Climate Week which ran from 21-27 March 2011. The week is a national campaign which highlights the positive work being done in workplaces and communities across the country to combat climate change. And that includes Queen’s.

As part of the week, staff took part in the Climate Week Challenge by submitting photos of them and their colleagues completing the following actions:

1.  Switching off office lights
2.  Switching off equipment eg computers, photocopiers
3.  Travelling sustainably eg cycling, getting the bus, car-sharing
4.  Reducing your office waste
5.  Getting staff together for a green coffee morning.
