Easter Switch Off 2012

The last holiday switch off (Christmas 2011) resulted in a 20% reduction in energy consumption from 2010. If this could be sustained during evenings and weekends throughout the year, it would save in the region of 1,000 tonnes of carbon and reduce our operating costs by around £240,000 per annum.

All staff are asked to make a special effort to switch off all non-essential equipment before they leave for the Easter holiday period.
