Is your son/daughter studying or considering studying A Level Maths and Science/Technology? If so, we would like to invite you to one of our Engineering Parents’ Evenings, as follows –
Please note that the same event will be presented at both locations.
This is an exciting time for school leavers to pursue a career in the above areas, even during the current economic conditions. There is a high demand for engineering graduates in Northern Ireland and starting salaries for Queen’s University graduates in these disciplines currently range from £18-£38K. At the event you will have the opportunity to hear about some of the reasons why your son or daughter should consider studying an engineering degree. You will also hear from employers and graduates of the courses and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We would encourage your son or daughter to accompany you to this event. Light refreshments will be served.
If you would like to attend this event I would be grateful if you would register online via the link below by Wednesday 26th October for the Belfast event and Wednesday 9th November for the Derry event.
I look forward to meeting you on the evening.
Yours sincerely
Professor Tom Millar
Dean of Engineering and Physical Sciences
This event is generously funded by
The Caterpillar Foundation and FG Wilson, a Caterpillar Company
