Equality and Social Inclusion in the 21st Century: Developing Alternatives
An international multi-disciplinary conference

1st - 3rd February 2006, Belfast, Northern Ireland

The conference, co-hosted by Queen's University Belfast, University College Dublin and The University of Ulster will be held in the Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast.  The conference will take place on 1st - 3rd February 2006, followed by an optional social programme on 4th and 5th February 2006.

The conference themes  will be:
-  Gender, Care and Justice
-   In States of Denial                                                              
-   Counting In(equalities)

Mike Apple - University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA
Tania Burchardt - EPSRC Research Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) - London School of Economics and Political Science, UK
Mayann Francis - Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission, Canada
David Gordon - Bristol University
Nancy Hirschmann - University of Pennsylvania, USA
Marilyn Waring - Massey University, New Zealand
