Roundtable 1: Civil Society
The first session of the Equality and Social Inclusion Roundtable Discussion Series 2004-2005 involved representatives of key Non-Governmental Organisations. It proved to be a resounding success, drawing a capacity crowd. Thanks to everyone for their support and engagement.

Overall, the session generated critical and pertinent debate on the equality and social justice issues relevant to both the respective organisations and Irish society at large. Representatives included Joanna McMinn (Director, National Women’s Council of Ireland), Sean Regan (National Co-ordinator, Community Workers Cooperative) and Tanya Ward (Senior Research and Policy Officer, Irish Council for Civil Liberties).
