Roundtable 3

The third session (February 7th 2005) of the UCD Equality and Social Inclusion Roundtable Discussion Series 2004-2005 involved representatives of key Non-Governmental Organisations. Representatives included Mary Keogh (Director, Forum of People with Disabilities), Chris Robson (Co-Chair, Gay and Lesbian Equality Network) and David Joyce (Development Officer, Irish Congress of Trade Unions) who reflected on how the themes in Equality: From Theory to Action resonated with their own work in the human rights field. Debate mainly focused on the feasibility of using the language of love, care and solidarity in the public domain.
