Roundtable 6

The fifth session (April 18th 2005) of the UCD Equality and Social Inclusion Roundtable Discussion Series 2004-2005 involved representatives of two Irish political parties: Mary Cahill  (Equality Officer, Fine Gael) and Killian Forde (Dublin City Councillor, Sinn Fein). A key theme was the gendered nature of political engagement, particularly due to the disproportionate amount of carework carried out by women.
