Technical Support

The University can provide a full range of audio visual equipment in conference and seminar rooms as well as support in the meetings and functions rooms. Equipment supplied as standard includes:

  • Data projector/plasma screen
  • PA system
  • Fixed computer with Internet access and full office suite
  • Facilities to connect your own laptop/portable device

Other equipment available on request:

  • Tripod Screen
  • Small PA with microphone
  • Large PA with microphone
  • CD player
  • Digital Audio recorder with microphone
  • DVD player
  • All the required cables/leads and stands to provide the best possible images/sounds whilst still providing a safe environment for users.

On occasion where the University cannot supply particular equipment, we are happy to work with external suppliers to ensure your requirements are met.

Wi-Fi access is also available throughout the University campus.  Delegates will be issued with an individual username and password to access the Queen's Network.

Please note a standard charge applies for AV equipment in all rooms, in addition to room hire costs.
