Conference information

How will I know if my abstract has been successfully submitted?

The system does not operate an automatic response for receipt. If you have not received a confirmation email at all, please contact conference organisers (Eventus) ICOT2011@qub.ac.uk

What happens if I don’t receive a confirmation email immediately?

It is unlikely that you will receive confirmation immediately as there is no automated response email set up. Therefore if you have submitted an abstract during normal working hours (Monday – Friday) you will receive confirmation within 24 hours.

When will I know whether my submission has been accepted or rejected?

The conference committee has already reviewed the first wave of submissions. Any outstanding submissions will be contacted by the end of February.

Is there a limit on the amount of presenters allowed to present?

No. A presentation can have as many co-authors as required. Each presentation will be allocated the same amount of time so it is up to the co-authors how they use their time.

Will people be required to present their posters at a given time or will these posters be left unattended?

Posters will be attended.

What size should the posters be?

Poster presentations will be provided with a 4ft x 4ft poster board which will comfortably facilitate a B1 or A0 poster, landscape or portrait.

Are there time allocations for presentations?

This information is stated on the website. Please visit http://www.qub.ac.uk/sites/ICOT2011/CallforPapers/ for more information.

Are there any word limits or special conditions associated with the final submission?

Abstracts will be published in the book of abstracts. Full papers will not be requested.
