Students from the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland

The Postgraduate Welcome and Induction Programme will include a range of events and sessions to help you settle into life at Queen’s. It is an extremely valuable time to meet new people within your School and also the wider postgraduate community here at Queen’s. The programme will also introduce you to the range of support services and resources available such as training, careers and other personal development opportunities.

The Postgraduate Welcome and Induction Programme will begin with a dedicated week of social events known as PG Welcome Week.

A list of events for 2016 will be provided on the Graduate School website later in the year.

International Students and those from outside the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland

The International Welcome and Orientation Programme will include many different types of sessions and activities aimed at getting you settled into life in Belfast and at Queen’s. It is an extremely valuable time to meet new people and make friends. You are expected to take part in the programme and we look forward to getting to know you during the event.

Full details of the International Welcome and Orientation week can be found on the International Student Support website, together with details of the Meet and Greet service and how to register.

International students will then be able to take part in the University’s main Welcome programme which follows the International Welcome and Orientation week.
