The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences has over 500 faculty, 2000 undergraduate students, 600 postgraduate students and an annual turnover of some £63m. It is made up of three education centres, (Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences) and an Institute of Health Sciences incorporating four research centres - all with a major focus on translational research.
The School’s vision is to drive excellence in teaching and in sustainable high quality clinical and biomedical research programmes, leading to global improvements in healthcare research and care.
