Deborah Morgan, Clerical Officer, Human Resources
Deborah has worked in the Human Resources Directorate since 2004. Originally employed as the Receptionist, she has had the opportunity to act up to a higher clerical grade on two occasions and has worked both part-time and full-time hours.

Ross Archibald, Clerical Officer, School of Pharmacy
Ross joined Queen’s in 2009 as a grade 2 Clerical Officer, starting in what used to be called the School of Languages, Literatures and Performing Arts and then moving to Personnel as a grade 3 Clerical Officer after 18 months. Almost three years later, Ross went part-time in order to spend part of his week as a stay-at-home dad with his two children and took up a suitable role within the School of Pharmacy where he provides clerical support to the academic staff in the School and is currently acting up to grade 5 Clerical Officer as Postgraduate Administrator.

Neil Meharg, Clerical Officer, Centre for Experimental Medicine
Neil has been a Clerical Officer at Queen’s for almost seven years now, coming here initially through a recruitment agency before successfully competing for a permanent post at the University. Currently in his third role since joining Queen’s, he works in the Centre for Experimental Medicine, a medical research facility investigating eye diseases and diabetic complications. His role ranges from carrying out day-to-day duties like manning the reception and dealing with enquiries from students and staff to the management of complex projects.
