New graphic design panel appointed

The University's brand values are: world-class, heritage, innovative, dynamic and life changing

Queen’s has appointed a new panel of external graphic designers.

As part of the new graphic design supplier agreement, eight external designer agencies have been appointed to undertake design work for the University ranging from strategic branding to operational marketing.

The Marketing and Creative Services Unit will be staff’s first port of call for any design queries. The Unit will either process design work itself using the internal team of graphic designers if they have the capacity, or commission one of the external design panel to undertake the work, in liaison with staff.

The new design panel is divided into two phases. Firms appointed to Phase One will deal with high-level strategic branding projects, such as brand campaigns, while those firms assigned to Phase Two will undertake work associated with operational marketing collateral such as the design of brochures, newsletters and display boards.

All the firms appointed to the design panel are familiar with the University’s new brand guidelines, which have been developed following an extensive brand review over the past year.

The new corporate brand proposition is built around the overarching brand driver of ‘We are Exceptional’ and on five key values: world-class; heritage; innovative; dynamic; and life changing. The brand guidelines can be accessed by clicking on the link: Brand Guidelines
