Queen’s Sport gets ready to co-host World Police and Fire Games
Queen's Sport will co-host the World Police and Fire Games which take place from 1-10 August 2013
Up to 10,000 competitors from over 70 countries will be in Northern Ireland next month for the World Police and Fire Games.
Running from 1-10 August 2013, around 56 sports will take place at 42 venues across Northern Ireland.
Queen’s Sport will co-host the Games with the Physical Education Centre (PEC) and Upper Malone Playing Field providing the venue for a number of sports from the Games.
Sports taking place at the PEC include: basketball, handball and dodgebell. Upper Malone will play host to: Gaelic football, rugby touch 7s, soccer 11-a-side, softball and orienteering – middle distance.
