Quercus Finances
Quercus receives funding from various national and international governmental bodies, conservation organisations, charities and commercial environmental consultants. The Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) is our most valued client with whom we have a 10 year contract for services from 2008-18 to conduct biodiversity and conservation science research through the Natural Heritage Research Partnership (NHRP). On average per annum from 2003-08, investment from NIEA was approximately £410K whilst £315K was won under competitive tender from other organisations; total mean annual turnover was approximately £725K (see below). Annual expenses are detailed each year in our annual reports.
