Gastrointestinal nematode infections represent a considerable threat to the welfare of grazing livestock and impose a significant cost in terms of productivity. Currently the industry relies heavily on the administration of broad-spectrum anthelmintics to maintain acceptable levels of animal performance by removing resident worm burdens for a period following treatment. This conference will bring together researchers, industry and regulators across the Island of Ireland to discuss key topics of interest and concerns relating to the impact of emerging issues in relation to anthelmintics.
