Gerard Fegan

Finance Directorate

Acting up as a Senior Buyer within the University’s Procurement Office, Gerard Fegan embarked on a steep learning curve during a time of significant change, challenging resource issues and punishing deadlines. Yet he ably supported the delivery of procurement for the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine.

As a result of this good work, he was appointed to manage the procurement for the GMP Cell Therapy Suite in the RVH – which he successfully delivered within five months.

Sara Johnston

Student Plus Directorate

In a short space of time, Welcome Centre Supervisor Sara Johnston has turned around the fortunes of the Centre, increasing year-end income in 2015-16 by 54%.
