Professor Peter Robertson

Professor, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering

Professor Peter Robertson is Professor of Chemical Engineering in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. An expert in energy and environmental engineering, his research focuses primarily around photocatalysis – the use of light to create and accelerate reactions – and its applications for solving key energy and societal challenges, including water decontamination and sustainable energy. Peter is also Chair of Queen's Change Management Group.

Kirsty is a technician and 3rd floor laboratory manager in CCRCB, ensuring that the laboratory runs efficiently and safely. She provides appropriate training in equipment and research techniques, ensuring Health and Safety compliance, and supporting research grants and projects in the Colorectal Cancer Research laboratory. Kirsty also participates in public engagement in CCRCB, providing laboratory tours, and open days.
