Stay At Queen's
Welcome to Queen's Accommodation
Update on applications for Student Accommodation at Queen’s
As previously communicated, the Univeristy has experienced increased demand for accommodation in the current intake, and are working through the allocation process to offer the remaining rooms. It is expected that the majority of rooms will be allocated by Friday 5 September 2014.
The rooms available for allocation are primarily those with a specific lifestyle option attached i.e.: Quiet Living, No Alcohol and Single Sex.
- Quiet Living Blocks - designed to provide optimum time for study, therefore noise must be kept to a minimum at all times in the accommodation blocks.
- No Alcohol - the consumption of alcohol is not permitted in this accommodation.
- Single Sex accommodation – residents are not permitted to have members of the opposite sex to stay overnight (signed in as guests).
A condition of accepting a room within any of the Lifestyle Living Accommodation is agreeing to live by the ethos of that accommodation. If you are offered one of these rooms we would ask that you consider the rules very carefully before accepting your offer, as failure to observe the rules of the may lead to disciplinary action.
Please note that due to the demand for rooms, it is unlikely that we will be able to find an alternative room before the start of term if this accommodation is not suitable. If you wish to find a room swap please check out the forum on our facebook page via the following link
