The Elms Village Reception is your first point fo contact for advice, support and general enquiries. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Below is a guide to the services provided at Elms Village Reception:
If you plan to be away from the halls for longer than seven days, please inform your neighbours and site staff. This is required so that you can be accounted for in an emergency.
If you require proof of residency for opening a new bank account, complete a form at Elms Reception and the letter will be available within 24 hours.
For the access code to the secure bicycle shelter, please call into or visit Elms Village Reception.
If you do not get a parking permit there are two Pay Per Use carparks operating adjacent to Elms Reception for 50p/24 hours. You must register your car details if you wish to use these carparks by coming into Elms Village Reception (you only need to register once). For additional information please click here.
When departing from your accommodation please return your key(s) to Elms Village Reception and complete the necessary paperwork to finalise your checkout.
You can register with a doctor at the University Health Centre by calling +44 (0) 28 9097 5551. During off hours, please call +44 (0) 28 9097 6220.
If you require first aid at any time please contact Elms Village Reception on +44 (0) 28 9097 4525 where one of our trained staff will assist you. If it is an emergency and you require emergency care, call 999.
You can sign in a guest at Elms Village Reception by coming in and completing the relevant form by 9pm on the day of arrival. The guest must also sign out at Elms Reception on their departure date. If the guest is not signed out the remaining guest stays for that month will be forfeited. We can also provide guest rooms at Elms Village which can be booked in advance and paid for at Elms Village Reception. These rooms are subject to availability. Hoovers can be signed out from Elms Village Reception and Treehouse Reception for 30 minutes by leaving you student card as a deposit. Your student card will be returned to you once the hoover is brought back (in the same working condition it was signed out at).
Items of lost propery found can be submitted to Elms Village Receptions where the details of them will be logged and the item stored safely for collection by the owner. Items not collected will be given to a local charity.
If you wish to make a payment for residential fees you can call into Elms Village Reception between 8:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday, where your payment will be processed and a receipt provided. Payment queries can be handled between 9:00am-5:00pm everyday. Payments for all other charges such as car parking, key charges, etc. can also be paid at Elms Village Reception at anytime.
There is a payphone located at Elms Village Reception and the Treehouse.

There is a free phone for fonaCAB taxi services located at Elms Village Reception. fonaCAB is the only taxi service allowed beyond the barrier in Elms Village.
