This includes research on infertility health care, pregnancy experiences of HIV Positive men and women, and pregnancy and parenting amongst ‘high-risk’ groups (see selected research projects).
Finally, the, Special Interest Group seeks to have a broad interpretation of health and wellbeing and includes researchers interested in expanding knowledge of contemporary gender identities and change and continuity in sexual and reproductive identities of young people (see selected research projects).
The Special Interest Group is keen to develop partnerships between research and policy and practice by actively fostering links with key stakeholders working in sexual and reproductive health. To this end, our membership is open to individuals external to QUB. We aim to develop further our links with key organisations such as the Family Planning Association, Brook, Crisis Pregnancy Agency, Teenage Pregnancy Unit, Youth Conference, Department of Health, Social Services & Public Safety for Northern Ireland and Public Health Agency.
