X-Ray Lasers Belfast 2008

The 11^th International Conference on X-ray Lasers will be hosted by Queen’s University Belfast from Sunday 17^th August to Friday 22nd August 2008. It is listed as an event contributing to the university celebrations to mark its centenary year.

The conference is being organised by staff from the Centre for Plasma Physics within the School of Mathematics and Physics.

Registration/reception details

Registration will be on Sunday 17 ^th August from 4 to 8 pm in the Canada Room, on the first floor of the Lanyon Building. This is the main University building, marked as (1) in the map on the left.

A welcome reception will be held in the Naughton Gallery (also in the Lanyon Building) from 6 to 8 pm.

Poster information

The dimensions of the poster boards will be 4 ft x 4ft (~ 1.2m x 1.2 m), which can accomodate A0 size posters both in portrait and landscape orientation.
