About Us
QQW was formed in January 2010 with funding from Trevor Newsom's office at Queen’s University, Belfast. The committee members were postgraduate students passionate about promoting the arts in the Queen’s Quarter area of Belfast.
Our objective was to present and support developing talent in students keen to become involved in the arts by facilitating and funding their efforts in producing events such as literary readings, plays, operas, music, performance, screenings, workshops, exhibitions, and inviting established artists, writers, and performers to get involved. The more interdisciplinary the better.
