Sarah has always had a keen interest in art and music, nearly taking art to university level. However, she ended up studying, and enjoying (!), a BSc in Maths at Queens University Belfast. After graduating from maths in 2006, Sarah went on to complete an MA in Sonic Art, focusing on Digital Signal Processing. She now is completing her PhD at SARC where her research area is Physical Modelling of stiff strings.
