Technology transfer
Building on the success of proof-of-concept testing and existing research links between UK and China, a number of work-packages are planned to ensure successful technology transfer between China and UK. The focus of this work will include:
- Test methods to assess the in situ quality of new concrete structures;
- A flexible arch system for constructing sustainable concrete arch bridges and tunnels;
- Solutions related to protection, control and optimal management of power systems for dynamic sustainable security.
The ultimate aim is field applications of a range of new technologies developed by EPES, ISAC and CBER.
