This short course provides early career researchers with an introduction to career planning in higher education. The topics explored will include: Higher Education in the UK (the research spectrum from Russell Group to post-1992), the role of the researcher, career progression in Higher Education, Understanding the criteria of academic of success (what are the key elements you need to put in place).
