It would be helpful if participants brought a module specification with them.

  • Aligning module content, learning outcomes and assessment
  • Distinguishing between aims and learning outcomes
  • Writing knowledge and ability learning outcomes
  • Learning outcomes and stage of study
  • Aligning assessment with learning outcomes

Designed for:  Academic staff, research staff, teaching assistants

Aim:

  • to consider the issues for curriculum design
  • to provide an introduction to writing and using learning outcomes
