This workshop is designed to give an overview of the facilities of the TurnitinUK Originality Checking Software allowing participants the opportunity to set up assignments and view originality reports. The course will also discuss how the tool may be used to illustrate the nature of plagiarism to students with a view to preventing plagiarism. The University’s recommended approaches to doing this in both the UG and PG contexts will be covered.
