Event Description

Date:      06 December, 2017

The ability to understand and use digital technologies in everyday tasks (digital literacy) extends to all aspects of teaching and learning. In this workshop we will review some of the more traditional models of content delivery and explore the advantages, disadvantages and requirements of new pedagogic approaches.

We will look at how the emergence of new technologies can open up possibilities for varied modes of content delivery. We will examine how lecturers are using digital technology to develop resources to support learning and look at examples of current practice in Higher Education.

There will be an opportunity to gain practical experience using selected software and hardware to create digital resources for learning.
