All Ireland Society for Higher Education (AISHE) is a professional society whose goal is to bring together and support those people who are concerned with advancing higher education in the island of Ireland. Department for Education and Skills (DfES) works towards developing a better educated and more highly skilled workforce, and building a fair and inclusive society in which everyone has the opportunity to realise their full potential. Education and Learning Wales (ELWa) is the joint name for the National Council for Education & Training for Wales and the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales.

It exists to enhance the status of teaching, promote professional standards and support CPD. The site includes details of services to members, events and publications.

Joint Information Services Committee (JISC) is a strategic advisory committee working on behalf of the funding bodies for FE and HE in the UK. It promotes the innovative application and use of information systems and IT.
