The main campus has a variety of suitable venues such as the Great Hall and Sir William Whitla Hall for large functions, and also the Canada Room and Council Chamber for smaller events.
Lecture theatres
Do you have a requirement for recruitment testing, a public talk or any other activity that requires a lecture theatre?
In the summer months our lecture theatres are available for hire, all over the campus.

For meetings and conferences
Internally, the venue offers executive lounges, nine syndicate rooms and four larger meeting rooms.
All meeting rooms can facilitate a range of catering possibilities, including tea and coffee breaks for meetings, working lunches or more formal dining options. Our state of the art Conference and Training Centre featuring a lecture theatre for 130 and a large function space for up to 290.
and for banqueting
The Isdell Courtyard, enclosed by a glass roof, is a multi-functional space with a capacity of 200 theatre style or 150 for banqueting.
It is the central catering space in Riddel Hall with a variety of menus available to suit all occasions, from finger and fork buffets to lunch and evening banquets.
