The deadline for submitting abstracts to the KTP Associate Conference has now passed.
Instructions for Presenters
Authors have been notified by email if they have been accepted for an oral or a poster presentation.
Accepted abstract authors must register and pay the registration fee by the date specified in their email notification or they will be withdrawn from presenting and their slot will be reallocated.
Please do not exceed the 15 minutes allocated to your presentation. Plan for a 12 minute presentation followed by 3 minutes for discussion. Your presentation must be in English and should be prepared as a PowerPoint file. Please email your presentation (powerpoint file) in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12pm Monday 17th June 2019. On the day you should meet the chairperson of your session and check that your presentation is loaded onto the computer at least 30 minutes before your session starts. Plan for a 12 minute presentation followed by 3 minutes for discussion.
The posters should have portrait format. The maximum size is A0 (84 cm wide and 119 cm high). A title and name(s) of author(s), company and university partners should be positioned at the top of the poster. We encourage that you include a photo of the presenting author at the top right of your poster. Please limit the amount of text in favour of descriptive figures. Please ensure that images are of a high print quality.
Posters should be saved as a PDF and emailed to email@example.com by 12pm Monday 13 May 2019. Posters will be printed and displayed by the QUB KTP Team.
A prize for best poster and best oral presentation will be awarded at the conference.
