Queen's co-hosted debate on ‘The Future of the Corporation, Economy and Society’

Queen’s University, in partnership with the British Academy, recently co-hosted a debate on ‘The Future of the Corporation, Economy and Society’.

The Future of the Corporation is a major new initiative by the British Academy that is addressing the purpose of business and asking what its role in society should be. It is led by Professor Colin Mayer FBA, Peter Moores Professor of Management Studies at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Professor Mayer and Professor Sir Paul Collier FBA, Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government and a Professorial Fellow of St Antony’s College at the University of Oxford were the main speakers.

The debate was followed by a Q&A session.
