Autonomous and intelligent systems have the potential to affect almost every aspect of our lives. But should that be a cause for concern?

As part of Northern Ireland Human Rights Festival 2018, Visiting Research Fellow, Dr Birgit Schippers, will give a talk on exploring how computational technologies impact on human rights and discuss whether those rights can be defended in a technological landscape increasingly shaped by robotics and artificial intelligence.

Followed by a special screening of Westworld.
