2017 CAST/CASE Conversion PhD Studentships Allocation

21 October, 2016

Three Department for the Economy Studentships (DfE) have been allocated to each Faculty for 2017

CAST/CASE PhD Studentships are jointly devised and supervised with an external collaborating body.

Three Department for the Economy Studentships (DfE) have been allocated to each Faculty for 2017 for conversion to CAST studentships. These, along with two EPSRC CASE studentships, will be allocated through an internal completion supported by the Business Alliance Team in Research & Enterprise.

The external partner is expected to provide additional financial support to the project which may be used, for example,  to provide an enhanced student stipend. The student is expected to be hosted by the collaborator for at least three months.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Monday 5 December.

Further guidelines and an application form is available here.
