The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Doctoral Programme

LINAS Doctoral Training Programme Virtual Information Session

The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS Doctoral Training Programme) offers PhD scholarships to researchers who are interested in the interdisciplinary study of AI’s social impact, or that of data mining and algorithmic decision-making more broadly. Each PhD researcher will be assigned supervisors both from computer science, maths & physics, cybersecurity and from law, politics and sociology. The programme focuses on two broad themes:
  • Artificial Intelligence, Social Justice and Public Decision-Making
  • Science, Governability and Society
