In total 24 Queen's academics have participated in the Global Research Training Programme to date.
View GRTP ParticipantsA priority of the Queen’s Global Research Engagement Action Plan is to provide capacity and capability training and development for Queen’s academics to engage in international research activities. To fulfil this commitment, Queen’s have developed a Global Research Training Programme (GRTP) to provide support for a selected group of early-career academic staff to lay the groundwork for conducting international research to address global challenges.
The GRTP will consist of:
- A series of training workshops to prepare researchers to engage in GCRF research opportunities;
- A seed grant of £4,000 to support international travel for the development of an international research project or partnership;
- Support to develop an international research proposal for funding.
