What should I include in my Personal Statement?

The information provided in the Personal Statement section of the UCAS application is noted but, for most of our degrees, this are not the deciding factor in whether or not an offer can be made. However, this may be reconsidered in a tie break situation in August. However, Personal Statements are important, and may be scored, for several of our high-demand professional programmes, e.g. Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Social Work... In all cases, applicants should include information about any gaps in their academic record, e.g. between GCSEs and A-levels, or after completing A-levels.
