Human Trafficking

As part of our 2022 International Women's Day Programme, Dr Thomas Thompson and Erin Magee spoke to Megan, a Volunteer Coordinator with Invisible Traffick. Invisible Traffick is a Northern Ireland-based charity, established in 2012 with the aim of tackling human trafficking and modern day slavery in the UK and Ireland.
The trafficking of human beings is a very well concealed and secretive world, but thankfully more and more is being done to penetrate it. Invisible Traffick work by raising awareness, engaging in education and collaborating in partnership with the authorities, government and NGOs.
