This section aims at providing clarity on policies, procedures and guidance that are of special interest to postdocs and researchers.
As a postdoc or researcher, it can be complicated at times to understand what is expected from you and what you are "allowed" to do or not. Available policies can be written in relatively specialised jargon that is difficult to understand. Also, since they are for all staff, it can be tricky to get how they apply to your specific situation as a postdoctoral researcher employed on a fixed-term contract.
The PDC aims at clarifying this, by providing adapted and simplified "briefs" of the policies the most relevant to you, explanations of how procedures apply to your case, as well as develop guidance and new specific reasonable "good practice" guidelines in areas that are important to you, such as teaching and work-life balance.
