PDC Postdoc Prizes

Nominations for 2021 are closed.

(Deadline: 9th July 2021)

Due to social distancing, we are unlikely to hand out the prizes at an event this year, but will announce the winners on the PDC Twitter account, @QUBPostdoc, during Postdoc Appreciation Week on Wednesday 22 Sep from 2 pm. Be sure to tune in and like, share and comment to congratulate the winners!

The Postdoc Prizes aim to recognise the exceptional contributions of postdocs to the University. In particular, the prizes aim to reward those who excel in what they do, who “go the extra-mile” in their research, in their contribution to the life of the University, in their contribution to Public Engagement and in the provision of support for their group, colleagues, School etc.

Set up for the first time in 2018 in the MHLS Faculty only, prizes are now also offered in the EPS and AHSS Faculties. The number and categories of prizes depend o the number of postdocs in each Faculty and the type of activities they are involved in (see details on Faculty-specific pages of the nomination procedure).

All prizes are awarded once a year during National Postdoc Appreciation Week.

We encourage all University staff to think of postdocs who have performed exceptionally well and to nominate them.
