This event will give the opportunity to fellowship holders from the MHLS Faculty to meet each other, network, get to know key researcher support staff and how they can help, as well as inform the PDC regarding additional support they need.

Welcome for new Vice-Chancellor and Patrick Johnston Fellows
Introduction to the fellowship scheme, including the probation process (Pr. Aaron Maule, Faculty Dean of Research)
Tea, coffee and scones will be available on arrival
Introduction of the fellows
Fellows will informally introduce themselves (where they work, which fellowship they hold, which stage of career they are at, what their research is about etc.)
Support for fellows at QUB
Representatives from researcher support departments will briefly introduce how their department can help fellows and answer questions (Will be represented: MHLS Finance, Research Policy Office: REF and Public Engagement, Research Development, People and Culture: Business partnering and organisational Development, Postdoctoral Development Centre)
New resources for fellows
Fellows will be invited to think about the additional support they could benefit from, in order to inform future resources to be developed by the PDC
Lunch and networking
Pizzas, sandwiches, tea and coffee will be provided
