What are fellowships? Why and how to apply for one? Come find out in this seminar, first part of the Fellowship Application Support Programme.
Seminar open to all covering what fellowships are and what types exist, why it is important to apply, what the best time to apply is and how to prepare for it. It also includes a presentation of the Fellowship Application Support Programme and the testimony of two current Faculty fellows, Dr Blánaid Hicks (Cancer Research UK Population Research Postdoctoral Fellowship, CPH) and Dr Donna Small (MRF fellow) on their own experience.
The event was rated as excellent or good by more that 3/4 of attendees and provided new information about fellowships to postdocs as well as clearly explained the support provided via the Fellowship Application Support Programme, which appears beneficial to all the attendees intending to apply for a fellowship.
