People and Culture have developped multiple resources to develop leadership, including a leadership framework and self-assessment tool (see Leadership provision here).
Connected Leaders and Manager essential
The programme associated to this, "Connected leaders" involves multiple workshops over a year, coaching and networking. There will be several levels of it, with level 1 launched in 2019.
This programme has a limited number of places per Faculty and getting access to it is competitive, requires a written application and support from your line manager.
People Manager essentials
This programme is designed for staff with line manager duties and focuses on building understanding, knowledge and skills to efficiently manage a team. More information.
Aurora
Every year, Queen's supports a few women to attend the Aurora leadership programme from AdvanceHE. Only women at Ac3 level ("Senior Research Fellow") can apply. More information.
