Elms BT9 is located approximately 1.5 miles (2km) from Belfast city centre in a leafy residential area within walking distance of local shops and restaurants making it an ideal location to stay if visiting Belfast during the summer.

If you are visiting Belfast or Queen's University during the summer then an ideal option is to stay in Queen's Accommodation. Elms BT9 is close to the University main campus, has 24 hour security, 24 hour reception and offers secure car parking.

Accommodation at Queen's is available from 3rd July 2018 - 31st August 2018 inclusive (excluding 11, 12 and 13 July).

Accommodation is in single en suite rooms which are simply furnished with a single bed, hanging space for clothes, a desk and desk chair. The en suite bathroom has a shower.

  • Rooms are arranged in blocks which are three floors high with eleven bedrooms on each floor. Please note that we do not have lifts and a ground floor room may be requested when booking.
  • Each floor has a fully equipped kitchen, table and benches and a soft seating area with a TV. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available.
  • The rate per night includes bed and breakfast basis, linen, towels, toiletry pack and internet service.
  • At the centre of Elms BT9 is the Treehouse where breakfast is served from 07.30-10.00 daily.
  • The MACE shop on site is open from 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday.
  • As Elms BT9 reception is open 24 hours, we can accommodate late arrivals and early check outs.
  • Free internet access is available in your room.
  • Pay Per Use secure car parking is available (for a small charge) and this may be arranged when booking your accommodation.

Summer Schools

If your group or summer school is visiting Belfast or Queen's University during the summer then an ideal choice is to stay in Queen's Accommodation.

We offer accommodation to suit any group or individual coming to Belfast throughout the summer.

Accommodation is in single en suite rooms. Rates include linen and towels if required. A flexible room cleaning service can also be arranged.

Rooms are in blocks of a maximum of 33 rooms with 11 rooms on each floor. Each floor has a kitchen and common room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities can be made available on request.

Groups are normally allocated to rooms together and access to each block is restricted to maintain security and safety of the group members. There is a 24 hour reception and security on site. Pay Per Use car parking is also available. 

Accommodation at Queen's is available during the summer months from 3 July 2018 - 31 August 2018.

Queen's University can provide high quality accommodation for conference delegates. Accommodation is offered in 1125 single en suite rooms at Elms BT9 located on the Malone Road, Belfast which is a short walk from Queen's main campus. A limited number of double rooms are available.

Elms BT9 has 24 hour security, a 24 hour reception and the Treehouse has a MACE shop with a deli, an ATM and a coin operated laundry. Limited Pay Per Use car parking is available on site.

Accommodation blocks have a maximum of three floors each with a common room/kitchen which is equipped with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

Delegate rooms for conferences are allocated together in adjoining blocks with access limited to only those specific delegates. They also have WiFi access.

Students and families travelling from England, Scotland, Wales and the Islands are encouraged to first stop at the ‘GB Welcome Centre’ (Canada Room and Council Chamber) where they can drop off any bags and pick up your free city bus tour ticket (Information on how to pre-register will be sent by email).
