As a CQC student I found this event last year to be very useful for me.  The event provided me with some introduction about the courses available at  QUB . Even though we couldn’t have the introduction to all courses but we still had the chance to speak to the staff like Dr David Grieve who could give us the answers we wanted. The answer given to me by  David was essential for me to make my decision and it was really helpful!

 Yaocun Li

My name is Yaocun Li, a final year Ph.D. student from School of Pharmacy at Queen’s University Belfast under Professor Ryan Donnelly’s supervision. My current work is focused on microneedle-mediated transdermal administration of ‘difficult-to-deliver’ drugs. I graduated with a BSc degree from China Medical University - Queen’s University Belfast Joint College (CQC) in 2019 and proceeded with my Ph.D. study since then. For the past four years, it has been a pleasure to work in such a professional academic institution where everyone is all deeply committed to high-quality research work. The access to various laboratories, advanced equipment, training courses and libraries has greatly enriched my research life. QUB is also dedicated to supporting students with good care outside of work via several different approaches. Belfast is a nice and safe city for study with reasonable daily expenses. Overall, my time as a Ph.D. student at QUB has been an enriching and enjoyable experience.
